Carlo Chinatti

Carlo Chinatti, one of Gasper Arts Center's newest pottery instructors, brings a diverse batch of experiences and skills to our community. Graduating in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Ceramics and a minor in Sociology from Southern Connecticut State University, Carlo has a strong foundation in both the technical and social aspects of art.

At Gasper Arts Center, Carlo specializes in both pottery and hand building, sharing his passion and expertise with students of all levels. His artistic journey extends beyond clay, as he also enjoys working with charcoal, digital drawing on an iPad, and photography, adding depth and variety to his creative repertoire.

In addition to his role at Gasper Arts Center, Carlo is currently a field manager and contractor hand at Magic City Remodeling. His hands-on experience in the field of remodeling complements his artistic skills, providing a practical perspective to his work with ceramics.

Carlo's teaching experience is extensive and varied. He has spent three years as a Level 1 PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America) badge holder, teaching skiing at Powder Ridge Park in Middlefield, Connecticut. His ability to instruct and guide students is further demonstrated by his three years of experience as a substitute teacher and teacher's assistant at Beman Middle School, Portland Middle School, and Killian Oaks Academy in Miami.
